Nobility Obliged - Nothing We Create Seems To Last EP (CDr, EP). Not On Label.
Kite Balloon (2011) Nobility Obliged EP (2008) A Thousand Spires (2007) Nothing We Create Seems to Last EP (2005). The 5 original tracks on the EP hint to the great material we have coming out on our full length in spring '09. It is our hope that our music will not only catch the ear and move people with the beat, but that the entire piece would affect emotions, and offer deeper intrigue in the ideas expressed. We take our songwriting seriously, and with pride.

Nobility Obliged is an innovative band from the Phoenix area. The music includes melodic and gripping guitar riffs, along with moving beats, ambient layers, and vocal landscapes. The songs are lyrically intriguing and sonically addictive. No favourite quotes to show.

Nobility possesses more acknowledged privileges and higher social status than most other classes in society. The privileges associated with nobility may constitute substantial advantages over or relative to non-nobles, or may be largely honorary (. To do so they were generally obliged to abandon their faith and some are believed to have feigned conversion to Christianity for the sake of acceptance by the old Christian aristocratic families. One such family, the Wara Seh (more commonly called the "Yejju dynasty") converted to Christianity and eventually wielded power for over a century, ruling with the sanction of the Solomonic emperors. The last such Muslim noble to join the ranks of Ethiopian society was Mikael of Wollo who converted, was made Negus of Wollo, and later King of Zion, and even married into the Imperial family.
