Dystopia is the name of the excellent debut of the Valencian duo Güiro Meets Russia. Dreamy, atmospheric, expansive and of undoubted Germanic flavour, the album released by Verlag System is composed of eight tracks of synthetic mystical air spiced up with kosmische vapours which remind of the work of Harmonia, Eno, Neu or even Boards of Canada. True Guru Electronics Vol. 1 by Soup Purse. It just so happens that Below PDX recording artists, Soup Purse and Argumentix both wrote long pieces denouncing their most despised cult leaders. Both fairly harsh pieces with vocals. Cocolase, feedback, tape manipulation, synth, vocals, and beats make this quite a journey. Collected together here for Volume One of the True Guru Electronics series. Below PDX doesn't necessarily intent do release volume two so feel free to keep the name going to expose these jerks.
Dystopia is the fifteenth studio album by American thrash metal band Megadeth. It was released on frontman and guitarist Dave Mustaine's Tradecraft label via Universal on January 22, 2016. The album was produced by Mustaine and Chris Rakestraw and features cover artwork by Brent Elliot White. Prior to Dystopia's recording, longtime drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick announced their departure from the band
The Aftermath is the second album by Dystopia. It was originally released in 1999 as a four-track LP on Life Is Abuse Records, and as a 13-track CD featuring additional songs from their splits with Skaven and Suffering Luna, the Backstabber EP, and one unreleased cover, on Life Is Abuse Records, Misanthropic Records and Crawlspace Records. The final song, "Cosmetic Plague", begins near the end of track 12, and is a Rudimentary Peni cover.
Dystopia is the tenth studio album by American heavy metal band Iced Earth. Released on October 17, 2011, it was the band's first album to feature vocalist Stu Block, who joined after previous vocalist Matt Barlow left the band. Dystopia was also the only Iced Earth studio album to feature bassist Freddie Vidales and drummer Brent Smedley until his return in 2015.
Soup Purse is the solo project of Todd Dickerson, synthesist in psyche-pop-improv band Dendrites, as well as the an of absurdist space-rock assault group Space Hawk.
In the video, seen above, the showdown continues with a high speed chase and a bloody brawl to end them all in the post-apocalyptic war zone envisioned by the band. Frontman Dave Mustaine told Mashable, who debuted the video, "We had met with a guy in England, and I basically talked to him about this dystopian city that I had kind of visualized . Fans will get more of a view of Megadeth's dystopian future when their new Dystopia album arrives on Friday (Jan. 22).
