The Beatles - Revolver 1966 Full Album.

Evolver Special Collaborator Crossover & JR/F/Canterbury Teams. This is the Beatles second foray into experimental music. But still, this was 1966. Taxman begins the album well. Although it is mostly a straight ahead rock song, the angular guitar style was ahead of it's time. Eleanor Rigby, with it's double string quartet instrumentation, inspired by Vivaldi, is certainly progressive.

The Beatles' seventh album was released in early August 1966. Following the release of Rubber Soul the group had embarked on what was to be their final UK concert tour and following a lengthy break, they returned to Abbey Road to record continually for three months. The first recordings released from these sessions, engineered by Geoff Emerick, was the single "Paperback Writer" and "Rain" and those tracks gave an indication of what was to come  . The latest Beatles album 'Revolver' certainly has new sounds and new ideas, and should cause plenty of argument among fans as to whether it is as good as or better than previous efforts. One thing seems certain to me - you'll soon all be singing about a 'Yellow Submarine'.

The Beatles (commonly known as The White Album) is the eponymous tenth studio album by English rock band The Beatles.

All the rules fell by the wayside with Revolver, as the Beatles began exploring new sonic territory, lyrical subjects, and styles of composition. It wasn't just Lennon and McCartney, either - Harrison staked out his own dark territory with the tightly wound, cynical rocker "Taxman"; the jaunty yet dissonant "I Want to Tell You"; and "Love You To," George's first and best foray into Indian music.

Released August 5, 1966. And, in the case of the Beatles, would be. The album featured a bigger Indian influence than Rubber Soul, particularly on Love You To, one of three songs Harrison contributed to the record- his personal best. It also featured backwards vocals and tape loops on songs such as She Said She Said and Tomorrow Never Knows, and some of the Beatles' most innovative instrumentation on Eleanor Rigby and For No One. The central theme of the album is death, both literal and metaphorical.
