Complete your Galli-Curci collection. Listening to this record one understand where the moniker "Bel Canto" came from: technical perfection and honeyed timbre. Galli-Curci adds to this a good helping of dramatic performance. Listen to "Una voce poco fa" or to "Qui la voce" to see what I mean. Sound quality is as good as one may expect from a 1910s or 1920s Victrola cut.
