What was the meaning behind this album, especially the last song on the album? Jon went into detail in an interview about the meaning of the album’s title, even more beyond the following quote. We’re humans, we have issues, including myself, so on this album, there’s a lot of me just kind of venting about how the fact that I’m frustrated that I’m human. For the last song, Hand of God, this annotation explains it well. Having something you believe i. s what often gives us purpose and reason to continue. on uses his outro to preach these ideals of love and happiness into our lives.
