Guitar – Robert Fripp. Other – Andres Jankowski. Other – Fernando Kabusacki, Hernan Nunez, Steve Ball. April, 1995 at the Goethe Institute, Buenos Aires. Matrix, Runout: GP0000732.
On his first volume in the Soundscapes series, Robert Fripp shuns his rock side and chooses to explore experimental, new age-like sounds instead. The selections on Radiophonics were culled from a seven-night stand of concerts that Fripp played in Buenos Aires from April 3 to April 9, 1995; in the liner notes, Fripp himself admits trying to test the audience's patience, generosity of spirit, and listening capabilities. The album transmits many different feelings, from haunting and eerie ("Buenos Aires Suite: I Atmosphere") to comforting and relaxing ("Buenos Aires Suite: II Elegy ").
Radiophonics' continues the ascension of Soundscapes towards new heights of direct music, picking up where '1999' left off - the long immersions into turbulence and desolation - and progressing through a wider range of moods, with new sounds and new effects. a rush of awareness, a realisation, a surge of pain.

Radiophonics: 1995 Soundscapes 1 Live in Argentina. That which passes-1995 soundscapes vol. 3. Robert Fripp. Robert Fripp's "A Blessing of Tears" consists of improvised live performances from Fripp's solo soundscapes tour in the beginning of 1995. Soundscapes is a form of digital guitar looping based on Frippertronics- tape-based guitar looping that Brian Eno concocted. Fripp performs this in many contexts, in the case of this album, as a solo performer. The music on this album is entirely improvised, with only Fripp's guitar and processing in place.
