Adam Rogers is an American jazz guitarist. The son of Broadway performers and musicians, he began playing piano and drums at just 5 or 6. He became "obsessed" with Jimi Hendrix and began collecting Hendrix recordings after starting guitar at age 11. He listened a great deal to the Hendrix recordings, and by 14 had learned to play in the style of Hendrix. SongMeanings is a place for discussion and discovery.

Adam Rogers is an American guitarist specializing in post bop, contemporary jazz, and classical music. He is currently a member of the Chris Potter Underground and the John Patitucci Trio, in addition to leading his own groups. He formally was a member of the Michael Brecker Group, the Mingus Orchestra, and Lost Tribe.

They've also utilized the same personnel. Art of the Invisible (Criss Cross, 2001) introduced a ums quartet that would, with the addition of saxophone, flesh out to a consistent quintet for Allegory (Criss Cross, 2002) and Apparitions (Criss Cross, 2005)
