The Dead South is a Canadian folk-bluegrass musical ensemble based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The band was initially formed in 2012 as a quartet by Canadians Nate Hilts (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Scott Pringle (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Danny Kenyon (cello, vocals) and Colton Crawford (banjo). Crawford left the band in 2015 and was replaced by studio musician Eliza Mary Doyle for several years. Colton re-joined the band starting with the Voices In Your Head tour in mid-2018
The Queen Is Dead is the third studio album by English rock band the Smiths. It was released on 16 June 1986 in the United Kingdom by Rough Trade Records, and in the United States on 23 June 1986 through Sire Records. The album spent twenty-two weeks on the UK Albums Chart, peaking at No. 2. It also reached No. 70 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and was certified Gold by the RIAA in late 1990
While the brief, dismal 1987 tour of The Grateful Dead backing Bob Dylan birthed an even more dismal live album Dylan & The Dead in 1989, its original ly compiled by Jerry Garcia-was a more consistent release that showed the idiosyncratic tour in its best light. That mix-which was rejected by Bob Dylan-is reconstructed here using (mostly) bootleg soundboard tapes from the tour, remastered for coherency.
Hold on, Holy Ghost Go on, hold me close Better run, here we come It's the Day of the Dead
Day of the Dead is the fourth studio album released by Hollywood Undead. It was released on March 31, 2015. It sold 29,787 copies on its debut week. The titular lead single of the album, Day of the Dead, was released on October 21, 2014
Day of the Dead was created and curated by brothers Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National. The compilation is a wideranging tribute to the songwriting and experimentalism of the Dead which took four years to record, features over 60 artists from varied musical backgrounds, 59 tracks and is almost 6 hours long. All profits will help fight for AIDS/ HIV and related health issues around the world through the Red Hot Organization, a 501(c)3. This is the 20th album of original music produced by Red Hot to further its mission. There will undoubtedly be a handful of tunes that don't float your boat - that's the nature of these particular beasts, but given the opportunity for a little musical exploration via interpretation, this compilation does the job exceedingly well.
