Progress (CD, Album). Progress (CD, Album).
With material ranging from ska-core circa 1997 to reggae to pop-punk, the Rx Bandits do their version of poppy, radio-friendly positive music quite well. Lyrically, the band tackles a variety of topics from racism to the power of the human will and does so with a musical focus on many styles. Progress is produced quite capably and shows that perhaps advancement can indeed be made for bands with horns, although not without sounds of the past. Fans of the upbeat, Orange County, CA, sound will dig this as it is both catchy and worth repeated listens
Pilgrims Progress is the fourth studio album by Kula Shaker and was released on 28 June 2010. The first single to be taken from the album was "Peter Pan . A three-track "Peter Pan . The album's title is a deliberate misspelling of John Bunyan's story, The Pilgrim's Progress.
IMYOUNGWORLD is recording a new album at his studio, Did It By Myself Studio. Your pledge makes you the most important aspect to the creation of this album next to the band in the studio. This will be your portal into the whole experience of creating this record. Exclusive video from the studio, unreleased tracks, rough mixes - you’ll be able to see and hear it all first!
The album's opener VCGIII is a powerful ska/post-hardcore amalgamation. Beginning with a descending bass riff and palm-muted scratch chords it soon explodes into a triumphant blast of distortion, brass, and screams. This post-hardcore/ska mix is also found in the magnificent addiction story of Infection. Infection's gripping guitar heavy sound crescendo's in a mass of horns, string swells, and Embree's vocal chords being torn to shreds. Status shows that the RX Bandits also have the pop side of things down pact.
