An official illustrated book, "Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin", will be released in October while guitarist Jimmy Page has recently stated that another Led Zeppelin live album will arrive later this year, with additional "outs" during the next decade.

Led Zeppelin have announced their return after four decades with a new studio album in September and a world tour featuring drummer Ringo Starr in the fall. The new album, simply titled Led Zeppelin V, features the same four symbols that graced the band’s landmark fourth album Led Zeppelin IV (also referred to as ZoSo). For their eponymous debut, Led Zeppelin stylistically fused elements of blues and rock music – Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, You Shook Me, and I Can’t Quit You Baby are based upon blues standards. Led Zeppelin had a fully formed, distinctive sound from the outset, as their eponymous debut illustrates. Taking the heavy, distorted electric blues of Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, and Cream to an extreme, Zeppelin created a majestic, powerful brand of guitar rock constructed around simple, memorable riffs and lumbering rhythms. But the key to the group's attack was subtlety: it wasn't just an onslaught of guitar noise, it was shaded and textured, filled with alternating dynamics and tempos.
