5th Dimension - End Of The World FLAC album

The 5th Dimension is an American popular music vocal group, whose repertoire includes pop, R&B, soul, jazz, light opera and Broadway-the melange was coined as "Champagne Soul. Formed as The Versatiles in late 1965, the group changed its name to the hipper "The 5th Dimension" by 1966.

From 1970's "Portrait", here's The 5th Dimension with "Dimension 5ive". Sampled for Crown City Rockers' "B-Boy".

Fifth Dimension is the third album by the American folk rock band the Byrds and was released in July 1966 on Columbia Records (see 1966 in music). Most of the album was recorded following the February 1966 departure of the band's principal songwriter Gene Clark. In an attempt to compensate for Clark's absence, guitarists Jim McGuinn and David Crosby stepped into the breach and increased their songwriting output

This 5th Dimension discography is ranked from best to worst, so the top 5th Dimension albums can be found at the top of the list. To make it easy for you, we haven't included The 5th Dimension singles, EPs, or compilations, so everything you see here should only be studio albums.

The 5th Dimension were just about the most successful harmony group of the 1960s and The Ultimate 5th Dimension is easily the most comprehensive single-disc collection on the market. It documents the heyday of the group, mostly their late-'60s tenure with Johnny Rivers' Soul City label and a few tracks from their '70s stay at Bell, and it focuses on their singles - their hit singles, that is. Each of the 20 songs here (the 21st track is a previously unreleased song, "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye") was a Top 35 hit or better

This is the end of the dimensions that are directly physically perceptible by human beings. All dimensions beyond the third are theoretical. The Fourth Dimension: Time. The fifth dimension is a world slightly different than ours, from which we could measure similarities and differences to our own world. Image vi. The Sixth Dimension: A Plane of All Possible Worlds With the Same Start Conditions. The sixth dimension is a plane containing all possible universes with the same start conditions as ours; . The Seventh Dimension: A Plane of All Possible Worlds With Different Start Conditions. The seventh dimension expands upon the sixth by plotting all possible worlds that begin with different start conditions

Vocally, the 5th Dimension were very tight. It didn't matter who was leading the song because the background vocals never missed a beat. The energy from this live performance in February of 1971 cemented their transition from studio to stage. The group would be better served performing the complete versions of each individual song. Highlight and lowlights include: "Laura Nyro Medley"- a very good medley, but why devote 3 minutes (out of 8 minutes)to the non-hit, "Stoney End"? Thankfully, they close with the raucous, "Save the Country". Eli's Comin'"- a fairly good version, but the male vocal almost makes Eli sound demonic, not the heart-breaker Nyro meant him to be.

Perfil: Pop - soul vocal harmony group. Founded in the middle of the 60's by Billy Davis Jr. Their worldwide hit "Up-Up And Away" sold more than 5 million copies between 1967 and 1968 and its parent album more than 1 million copies during those years. In 1968 this group set a sensational record by winning 5 Grammy awards (Best song of the year for "Up-Up And Away", Best vocal group, Best contemporary album, Album of the year, Best contemporary group)

The 5th Dimension came into existence at the birth of the multiverse. It has always existed on the fringes of reality, a universal constant. Three of space, one of time, and one of arcane. perhaps even inevitable. They could not have foreseen its interactions with this unknown arcane dimension, nor the unfortunate demise that would befall their race at the moment of its fabrication. This Otherworld would trigger an energy cascade within the 5th, a series of events that would culminate the eventual setting you are about to explore. This is a setting of wondrous arcane magic, cosmic exploration and pure adventure.
