The Remixtape element of the project was approached by giving the producers the vocal tracks from "When Electric Night Falls" and the rest was up to them. All their contributions bring a new life to a project that has already lived once. None of this would be possible without the great contributions from these audio, visual artists.

Bisco Smith returns to Treason Gallery with the follow up to his successful 2017 solo exhibition, TOMORROWS. His highly anticipated new body of work explores the evolution of his monochromatic approach to deconstructed expressionism. Harnessing his emotional, gestural approach to composition, Smith’s work is physically and mentally connected to the visceral act of painting. Smith utilizes his understanding of space from his early years as a graffiti writer, reimagining the execution of abstract expressionist painting through his unique contemporary lens.

Bisco Smith is taking a bit of chance with his latest release. He, like many other rappers before him, changed his stage name. Previously known as Bisc1, he dropped several strong efforts, particularly 2008's When Electric Night Falls. Yet, after numerous years under his belt and a newfound sense of self, the onnecticut MC/graffiti artist now goes by Bisco Smith. He's chosen the perfect means of making his new name known because The Broadcast is sure to turn some heads, even with its moments of monotony. On their sixth studio album, New Jersey punk rockers Titus Andronicus, normally associated with big, ambitious gestures, get back to basics.
