Sleep is an album by composer Max Richter. Released on September 4, 2015 on Deutsche Grammophon, as a digital download, and on December 11, 2015 as an 8-CD/1-Blu-ray se. the album serves as a concept album based around the neuroscience of sleep, hence its length of over eight hours. Sleep was accompanied by simultaneous release of the one-hour-long album, From Sleep, with seven additional tracks (different variations of tracks from the main album), and later by the remix album Sleep Remixes.

Clearly the pressing plant dropped a ball on this. If this would of have been 2x140g there probably wouldnt be as much problems as there is now.

I also listen to this during the daytime, from time to time. From Sleep" is actually an hour-long excerpt from Mr. Richter's magnum opus "Sleep", which is an eight hour long piece  . Being unfamiliar with Max Richter, I took a " flyer" with this two LP album. and ultimate delight; it is beyond my expectations and worth many replays. Richter explores music in ways that tend to confound one used to "classical constructions.
