Album Wheels of Fire. I went down to the crossroads, fell down on my knees Down to the crossroads fell down on my knees Asked the Lord above for mercy, "Take me, if you please". I went down to the crossroads tried to flag a ride Down to the crossroads tried to flag a ride Nobody seemed to know me, everybody passed me by. Well, I'm going down to Rosedale, take my rider by my side Going down to Rosedale, take my rider by my side We can still barrel house, baby, on the riverside.

Cross Road Blues" (also known as "Crossroads") is a blues song written and recorded by American blues artist Robert Johnson in 1936. Johnson performed it as a solo piece with his vocal and acoustic slide guitar in the Delta blues-style. The song has become part of the Robert Johnson mythology as referring to the place where he supposedly sold his soul to the Devil in exchange for his musical talents, although the lyrics do not contain any specific references.

Crossroads - Cream, the best guitar pro tabs and music sheets for guitar, bass, drums, piano and more! mySongBook. It’s kind of hard to imagine, but back in 1967 Eric Clapton was a tripped-out hippie, sporting an afro and playing ten-minute solos on a multi-coloured painted Gibson SG. Cream was the first power trio in rock history and took psychedelia to a new level. Their lengthy instrumental improvisations raised the virtuosity bar for everyone, and their huge distorted sound was a big influence on most hard rockers of the seventies.
