Bad Intentions is the debut solo studio album from British rapper, singer, and songwriter Dappy, released on 22 October 2012 via Takeover Entertainment Limited and Island Records. The album is Dappy's first studio material released since the split of his previous hip-hop band, N-Dubz. The release of the album was announced in July 2011

years, that's all we've got Five years Five years Five years Five years. Perhaps one of the best album openers of all time, Five Years crescendos beautifully. A sparse fade in introduces a few verses set to piano, chronicling the panic that accompanies news of Earth’s imminent demise. Bowie crams in details, mostly focusing on the people. Then it soars and becomes a love song, with Bowie’s narrator desperately clinging to the memory of a lost love as he comes to terms with his mortality. The stage is set for Ziggy’s entrance.

This band is thunderous in its delivery, so much so that on occasion I was convinced the instrumental track was in competition with the vocals. Title: Five Years Later (2010). A story about a teenager named Danny, whose shallow way of life is thrown into question when his older brother Jay, who had run away five years earlier, suddenly returns. It's a story about two brothers trying to regain their bond, about Danny trying to find himself as a young man, and about Jay trying to come to terms with his past actions and making sure his little brother doesn't make the same mistakes he did, all set in the comedic and quirky day to day lives of the characters.
