The official Jethro Tull Story by Jethro Tull. For the first time ever, Ian Anderson along with past and present members of Jethro Tull, tell the story of a unique and remarkable musical career.

However true Jethro Tull fans undoubtedly understand that Jethro Tull was not only Ian Anderson. The band’s early years featured significant contributions by all band members. The sound of Jethro Tull was of course shaped by Ian Anderson vocals style and innovative use of the flute in rock music. Nonetheless we can’t mention the band Jethro Tull without defining the importance of guitarist Martin Barre who joined the band for their second album entitled Stand Up in 1969. Martin Barre’s distinctive guitar sound and intensely furious guitar licks helped fuel the success of so many of Jethro Tull’s most popular songs. Farm On The Freeway represents the best of this great 1985 Jethro Tull album. It’s also represented by what would become known as the Farm Aid movement that was started by Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp. 7 – Minstrel In The Gallery.

The Jethro Tull Christmas Album. The Jethro Tull Christmas Album is the 21st studio album released by Jethro Tull, on 30 September 2003. The Jethro Tull Christmas Album is a mix of new material, re-recordings of Tull's own suitably themed material and arrangements of traditional Christmas music. Jethro Tull wasn't the first to use the newspaper theme for album art: The Four Seasons 1969 album Genuine Imitation Life Gazette was made to look like a newspaper with lyrics to the songs appearing as stories. It even had a comics-section insert. Micheal from Little Rock, AkThick as a Brick os the coolest song ever because he plays the flute and sings during the song and I like the sound of the flute and the melody of the song. he writes what has commonly been called a "masterpeice". Ian anderson is amazing on the flute! Does anyone know what it means?? -Chris Galea

I've done the best jethro tull songs, so now its time to do the hard task of picking 10 albums in the amazing Jethro Tull repertoire. This is a great jethro tull album. It's very unique compared to the other music of jethro tull. Every song is very listenable with so many different influences. This one should be in your tull collection. For me Stand Up is Jethro Tull's real first album
