Ocean Parkway (Three-Lobed Recordings) is the second album Gunn has made with the drummer John Truscinski, following up 2010’s fine Sand City. Gunn plays a kind of charged, smudged folk-blues, losing himself in serpentine ragas that nevertheless keep up a rollicking momentum. Truscinski, meanwhile, is one of those freestyling drummers, like Chris Corsano, with a restless jazz invention and a habit of suddenly forcing the music to surge violently forward

Limited Edition "Variant" LP - 20 copies.Statement from the label: "When we assembled the collected Gunn-Truscinski Duo Sand City / Ocean Parkway 2xLP last year we were left with a small amount of platters from each LP that did not have a gatefold cover to live in. We have had a few folks get in touch with us over the last couple of years looking for standalone copies of one of those two titles so we have housed those "leftover" LPs into some old first pressing Sand City or Ocean Parkway silkscreened covers. These LPs are not numbered like their original counterparts but instead have a silver stripe immediately under the TLR logo on the back of the covers. So, to be clear, this is a "Ocean Parkway" LP from the 2016 2xLP pressing placed within an original 2012 LP cover. Only 20 of these exist."
