Big Audio Dynamite II released their second album The Globe with a coupon, which had to be sent to the NME, to receive their first live album. In 1992–1993, NME released their own compilations, In a Field of Their Own and Ruby Trax, all containing exclusive recordings. Around this time, they started covermounting cassettes on their magazines, such as the Brat Pack series, and NME Xmas Dust Up in late 1994, a mix by The Chemical Brothers (their fourth and final release using their original The Dust Brothers).
Works Volume 2 is the sixth studio album by Emerson, Lake & Palmer, released in 1977. Unlike Works Volume 1 (which consisted of three solo sides and one ensemble side), Works Volume 2 was a single album and it was seemingly a compilation of leftover tracks from other album sessions. While many derided the album for its apparent lack of focus, others felt that it showed a different side of the band, with blues, bluegrass and jazz being very prominent as musical genres in this recording.

Volume Two is a jazz related rock music album recording by SOFT MACHINE released in 1969 on CD, LP/Vinyl and/or cassette. Volume 2 Remastered Emi Europe Generic 2009. Volume Two - 2nd - Pink Label Probe. Volumes One & Two by Soft Machine (1995-11-27) Big Beat UK.
Volume Two - 2nd - Pink Label Probe. VOLUME TWO is my favourite Soft Machine album, no doubt about it! The Softs' debut album may have been charming but it's a little too "pop" to my taste, while THIRD (a double album) contains too much aimless noodling - although it does feature the gorgeous (Wyatt-saturated) "The Moon in June". In VOLUME TWO the band reached the highest heights of pataphysics, especially with the gorgeous suite on the original A- side. VOLUME 2 is the logical follow-up to their groundbreaking first album. The same kind of atmosphere prevails once again with a psychedelic jazzy feel, silly and funny lyrics, wild musical experiments but there are also a few noticeable changes showing some hints about the musIcal direction SOFT MACHINE would take in the future.
