The Guess Who is a rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba that was one of the first Canadian groups to establish a major successful following both in their own country as well as abroad. This album should have been called "10 Approximately," as it is hard to get a real handle on the comings and goings of the Guess Who and which albums they include in that "ten" number at any place in time since their vague inception.
The Guess Who Format: Vinyl. might not be their overall best but does deliver some pretty good tunes. Absoutley love the vocal harmonies on Musicione. I purchased this at the same time I picked up "Road Food. I have yet to find any of the three I have purchased that are Iconoclassic to be less than outstanding. wow, hang on to your socks!!
The Guess Who had some big hits under their belt in their native Canada, but this song earned them international acclaim and a US record deal with RCA. They wrote the song at a time when they were gigging constantly, and also serving as the house band on a Canadian TV show called Let's Go, where they would play covers of hit songs.
