Ecstasy Lyrics: Now there just passed on another day, Where I really wanted to get away, From the problems that I built up, Can only see one way to make it stop, Unable - I'm too bound, . This danceable chaos of a song is the opener of Iceage’s most recent record You´re Nothing. The song explores the common themes of isolation and numbness, but with a poetic twist that gives it a very melancholic and sad light, rather than an aggresive one.

If you're a casual pop punk fan or really only know the stuff you saw on Fuse or Total Request Live you might not really know The Ergs. Though they gravitated more toward the legitimate punk and hardcore scene, they have a lot in common with the bands on this list, though they're both a little more jokey and less silly. 23. Less Than Jake, Anthem. While Less Than Jake venture close to ska punk territory, there is no way anyone could ever argue against the pop punk-ness of "The Science of Selling Yourself Short. It's also a rare moment where they're not being totally annoying and self-aware. It's just a nice, solid pop punk album.

Queen bass player John Deacon wrote this song. All four members of the group wrote at least one of their hits. John Deacon wrote this song about his wife.
