Alone" is a song by English singer-songwriter Jessie Ware. It was written by Ware, Sarah Aarons and Kid Harpoon, with production handled by Harpoon and Stint. The song was released through Island Records on 14 September 2017, as the third single from the singer-songwriter's third studio album, Glasshouse (2017). On 13 September 2017, Ware premiered the song on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show, as Mac's "Hottest Record", alongside the official announcement of the album.

Jessica Lois Ware (born 15 October 1984) is an English singer-songwriter and podcaster. Her debut studio album Devotion (2012) peaked at number five on the UK Albums Chart and produced the single "Wildest Moments". Her follow-up record, Tough Love (2014), reached number nine in the United Kingdom. Ware has sung vocals for Joker and SBTRKT, in concert and on their recordings. In October 2017, Ware released her third studio album, Glasshouse, by Island Records.

Jessie Ware’s third album, Glasshouse, is coming out on 10/20. It was co-written with Kid Harpoon, who helped out on three songs on Ware’s debut Devotion, including the great Wildest Moments. I’m so happy to be reunited with Kid Harpoon on this one, Ware said in a press release.
