QUARTET is the new album from Grammy-winning saxophonist Bob Reynolds featuring his working band of Ruslan Sirota (piano), Janek . Although he listened to a range of music as a kid, by his late teens he was a dedicated jazz student.

Although underexposed most of his life, Bob Dorough was an adventurous, risk-taking master of vocalese (the process of writing and singing lyrics to instrumental jazz solos) and scat singing who directly or indirectly influenced Mark Murphy .

On the strength of the plot alone, concocted by the matchless writing team of Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Singin' in the Rain is a delight.
