Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros - Streetcore FLAC album
Streetcore is the sound of Joe Strummer hitting his stride with his own band on his terms both lyrically and musically. The fact that this is a final album for Strummer is beside the point; this is one of the best rock & roll albums of 2003, and truly the finest, most cohesive work he did after London Calling.

Streetcore is the third and final studio album by Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros. The album was completed after the death of frontman Joe Strummer, primarily by Martin Slattery and Scott Shields, and released on 21 October 2003. The album marks the band's transition from their previous genre-bending work to a more straightforward rock album, reminiscent of Strummer's early work with The Clash.

Streetcore is Joe Strummer’s final piece of music before his sudden and untimely heart failure on December 22, 2002, 4 years ago today, at the age of 50. But he could not have left on a better note. Opening the booklet of the album, a picture of The Mescaleros’ recording studio is pictured, in it showing an array of instruments ranging from all kinds of guitars, bongo drums and keyboards all cluttered together.

The great sound of the unic Joe Strummer. Album release in 2003. And then came his "rebirth" through the Mescaleros, and he found his voice again that's what my son says when some fool is just clowning, making a fool of himself.
Joe Strummer and the clash bought a nation together with their music in times that were difficult if you was black or white, Where are you now joe when the country needs you to bring us all together as one instead of this fractured Britain. p joe M8. Kyle Duncan. The Clash changed my life. Was sad for Joe when he released Cut the Crap. He knew-and we knew-it was not the best he had to offer. And then came his "rebirth" through the Mescaleros, and he found his voice again.
