Queen - The Best FLAC album
With a new Queen album out, and a tour in the new year, let’s celebrate some of the tracks that weren’t all over the singles charts for months on end.
The new reissues offer a fresh viewpoint on the band’s classic work, and on the 20th anniversary of the passing of iconic frontman Freddie Mercury, we’re taking a look at 10 of the best Queen albums: 10. 'Innuendo'. Considered by most as the last proper Queen album, ‘Innuendo’ was recorded during the time when Mercury was in the final stages of his battle with the AIDS virus. Although Mercury’s illness was unknown at the time, he was clearly grappling with his own mortality
Queen were one of the most popular bands of the Seventies and Eighties worldwide - they were massive in the US until Hot Space, and huge in the UK, Europe, Japan, and many other countries throughout their entire career - in fact their last 5 albums each sold even more in the UK than their Seventies classics. Co-produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen, it was the most expensive album ever recorded at the time of its release. A commercial success, A Night at the Opera has been voted by the public and cited by music publications as one of Queen's finest works. The album takes its name from the Marx Brothers film A Night at the Opera, which the band watched one night at the studio complex when recording.
The Queen catalogue is frothing with songs which have become signposts for successive generations. Here are their 15 studio albums, covering two decades, ranked from worst to best. 15. Made In Heaven (Parlophone, 1995). A posthumous album, this featured vocal and piano parts recorded by Mercury in the months before had died. The tracks were subsequently finished by Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor. While there was a lot of emotion invested in completing the album, it is nonetheless very disjointed and, at times, confused. It’s clearly not a proper band album, and without Mercury giving.
Best queen album in my opinion understated compared to other albums every song brilliant a mature queen and every band member sang recognised songs. One of the best debut albums ever. Criminally underrated - dlbk03. A great album from Queen - includes a lot of my favourite songs by the band. It's a shame that 'Mad the Swine' was never one this album. It would have been the perfect fit between 'Great King Rat' and 'My Fairy King' where it was intended. Captures Queen at their best with the classic fast version of "We Will Rock You" - SkoolofRock. A must for all fans of Queen, but for all entusiasts of live-albums.

British rock band Queen consisted of vocalist Freddie Mercury (d. 1991), guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor, and bassist John Deacon (r. 1997). Founded in 1970, Queen released their self-titled debut album in 1973. Despite not being an immediate success, Queen gained popularity in Britain with their second album Queen II in 1974
Still, that’s just the tip of the shuddering iceberg. As for their 15 full studio albums, we’ve taken the cultural temperature, listened to the lot, and put them in some sort of hierarchical structure
