Electric is the third album by British rock band The Cult, released in 1987. It was the follow-up to their commercial breakthrough Love. The album equalled its predecessor's chart placing by peaking at number four in the UK but exceeded its chart residency, spending a total of 27 weeks on the chart (the most successful run for an album by The Cult). The album marked a deliberate stylistic change in the band's sound from gothic rock to more traditional hard rock.
Kates said the pivotal nature of these times is perfectly illustrated by Mexico City, which is just behind Tokyo atop the list of megacities. The sprawling megalopolis, where traffic is paralyzed, is about to choose in a referendum between double-decking its downtown highways or expanding its subway system. The poetic storytelling nature of Robert Plant's lyrics combined with Jimmy Page's brilliant musical composition places "Stairway To Heaven" as the number one rock song of all time. Mr. Page's arrangement of a dramatic crescendo type development with the song passing through stages along the way lend to his (and John Paul Jones) influence by classical music. I think it's THE greatest song of all times. The song evolves till the amazing solo (one of the hardest solos ever written). Next, the instrument use is amazing, with the piano solo in the beginning, and adding the electric guitar which you barely notice it's even there until it comes out in an exciting outburst. Then the drums come in as the mood goes up and loud. I can listen to this song a million times, and I do. If people actually scrolled all the way down to find this, there would be many more voters.
Remainers must snap out of their slumber. Small skipper butterflies are flitting about among the tops of long grass. The skipper family get their name from the speed and nimbleness with which they do this. They can also be distinguished as a family by the unusual way in which they hold their wings when they settle. They lift their forewings and hold them at an angle to their hind wings. The small skippers are golden brown. They are almost identical to Essex skippers, with which they mingle, and the two species can best be separated by going down on your knees and looking at the knobs at the tip of their antennae.

From Already Dead: “Label heavyweights, Forget The Times are back with their fourth AD release! This time bringing along Carrollton, GA friends The Electric Nature. The two sides of this tape couldn’t be more opposite in their approach and yet they compliment each other remarkably well. The Electric Nature provide a meticulously crafted groove based Psych Rock epic. Listening to their tracks conjures up comparisons to such luminaries as Acid Mothers Temple, Battles, Neu! and Ash Ra Temple. Forget The Times have offered up two completely improvised pieces recorded live in their hometown of Kalamazoo, MI. The recordings are decidedly more lo-fi. Mistakes, instead of being rooted out, are welcomed and intentionally repeated.
The overall result is a heavy, cathartic and diverse musical experience ready to melt yr tape decks.”
