Innuendo (album) - Queenpedia. com - A comprehensive Queen Discography, Queen Interviews, Queen History. Everything you need to know about Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon. I Can't Live With You, with its blaring four-part harmonies, could be an out-take from the classic album Jazz, but it still sounds fresh. Singer Freddie Mercury has toned down the annoying vocal gymnastics.

Innuendo is the fourteenth studio album by British rock band Queen. Released in February 1991, it was the final studio album to be released in Freddie Mercury’s lifetime and is the last to be composed entirely of new material. It reached No. 1 on the UK album charts, and was voted the 94th greatest album of all time in a 2006 national BBC poll. The album was recorded between March 1989 and November 1990. Stylistically, Innuendo is in some sense a return to Queen’s roots, with its harder rock sound, complex musical composition (title track), psychedelic effects ( I’m Going Slightly Mad ), and somewhat weakened vocals from Mercury ranging over three octaves (F2-A5). Nine months after the album was released, Mercury died of AIDS-derived bronchial pneumonia. The album cover was taken from the French cartoonist, J. J. Grandville. What have the artists said about the album?

The music by Queen on this album is some of their best work. On several tracks they went back to some of their harder sound from their earlier days, and If you are a fan of that time in their careers then you need to own this. However, I was not very happy when I opened up my package. The music on this album is definitely five-star worthy, but only gets four from me because of this. One person found this helpful.
