Terror, Diplomacy, and Public Relations falls into an interesting trap; its tight and snappy workouts of '60s-style beat rock, thrashy punk, and occasional rockabilly are executed solidly enough that one couldn't ask much more from them - but the album never quite escapes the limitations of the genre to do anything very notable. As a collection of this sort, however - running the gamut between a less campy Cramps, the late-'90s work of the Hi-Fives, and Kinks-influenced punk - Terror doesn't leave a whole lot to be desired.
