The Bronx group Raw Breed debuted in 1993 with "Lune Tunz. In '93, Raw Breed was basically a hybrid of Onyx and Fu-Schnickens. On this LP, the MCs sound just like Onyx. It's everything I hoped it'd be, a NY album dropped in '93 when the beats were hard or funky or whatever, but always slammin' and MC's were full of passion and energy, just having fun with Hip-Hop. This is truly hard, head-bobbin' sh t and believe me when I tell you the beats are AMAZING. That's what stands out most w/ this album, the crazy production. It's as if they sampled some background music from a Bugs Bunny cartoon, and made it funky. The MC's are fierce and raw but their styles fit the beats perfectly.
