Cecile Campbell / The Maytals - Shimmering Star / He'll Provide FLAC album
There is a much earlier cut of Shimmering Star recorded by Cecil Campbell that uses the same rhythm track but without the strings. Don't know if the strings on the Marcia version were added to the UK Bamboo release, but it's plausible considering other Marcia releases like Always Together and Young Gifted & Black. Shimmering star does not sound like a 60s track and He'll Provide by the Maytals (1964) was just re-released on this blank like also 1970 in UK on the Banana label BA300. Reply Notify me Helpful.
