The View From This Tower. Album The View From This Tower. The View From This Tower Lyrics. When I leave here I'll be glad Much like the ones that drove me out Their smiling heads wag as one Taking care, nurture your ego. But we're not being chosen the truth they bear. I said let them play with their power and fracture Let's take on something less petty I'm ready to move on I'm ready. The View From This Tower" Track Info. The View From This Tower Faraquet.

The nervous energy of The View From This Tower is fully encapsulated in its explosive opener "Cut Self No. From its no-nonsense opening riff to its angular guitar build-up and graceful interludes, the track stops, slows, and sprints in exciting, calculated bursts. And if it's for their moments of transcendent riffing or compelling energy that Faraquet is remembered, or belatedly discovered, it will be a worthy legacy.

All the sounds on this album are very well produced without being overproduced or too glossy. The guitar sound is very cool, basically clean with just a slight touch of distortion, and it suits the music perfectly. The bass does exactly what it needs to; when it works to have a prominent bassline, it's there, and vice versa. The drums are really what make this record. This guy has more of an influence on the sound than any other drummer I've ever heard. Overall the use of interesting time signatures and other musical complexities without becoming boring works perfectly
