Album The Flying Platters Around The World. Twilight Time Lyrics. Heavenly shades of night are falling It's twilight time Out of the mist your voice is calling 'Tis twilight time When purple colored curtains Mark the end of day I'll hear you my dear at twilight time. Deepening shadows gather splendor As day is done Fingers of night will soon surrender The setting sun I count the moments darling 'Till you're here with me Together at last at twilight time

This is my grandfather's group. He was based out of Portland, Maine. I came across this last night almost by accident. Our family doesn't have a copy of this record so I can't wait to bring one "home!"
Whitebinder
Very obscure & unknown 1950s or early '60s group record with full-band backing based around a big, full-sounding organ, with great vocals and a kinda doo-wop sound (especially on their version of "Twilight Time").This record was found in Rhode Island and could be an obscure group from RI, but we could find no info (possibly a Privately Pressed Rhode Island release).
