So I'm waiting for this test to end So these lighter days can soon begin I'll be alone but maybe more carefree Like a kite that floats so effortlessly I wa. .
So I'm waiting for this test to end So these lighter days can soon begin I'll be alone, but maybe more carefree Like a kite that floats so effortlessly. I was afraid to be alone But now I'm scared that's how I like to be All these faces none the same How can there be so many personalities? So many lifeless, empty hands So many hearts in great demand And now my sorrow seems so far away Until I'm taken by these bolts of pain
Azure Ray is the debut and eponymous studio album by American duo Azure Ray, consisting of Maria Taylor and Orenda Fink. It was originally released on January 16, 2001 by Warm Electronic Recordings. After their previous band disbanded, Taylor and Fink moved to Athens, Georgia where they formed Azure Ray. They signed to WARM and recorded the self-titled record with Eric Bachmann (Crooked Fingers and Archers of Loaf).

Listen to music from Azure Ray like Sleep, November & more. Azure Ray started in Athens, Georgia, in 2001 and later relocated to Omaha, Nebraska, and joined the music scene there, leading to collaborations with Bright Eyes and Now It's Overhead, among others. Their sound is sparse and understated, with intimate lyrics, elements of alt-country and folk Americana, and occasional forays into minimalist electronica.
November - EP. Azure Ray. Released 2002. November - EP Tracklist. 2. For the Sake Of The Song Lyrics. 3. No Signs Of Pain Lyrics.
Sometimes being immersed in melancholy can be irresistible; there's the deep pull of lingering in a state of wistful romantic sorrow. The music of Azure Ray acts as a blanket, enveloping the listener in the comforts of the sad and the beautiful. Formerly of ecstatic popsters Little Red Rocket, Orenda Fink and Maria Taylor have eschewed volume for a softness that is stunning in its fragility and intensity. Hinting at feathery 4AD output, Azure Ray fortify their lonely-heart sounds with songwriting that builds upon the already potent atmospherics. Discovered this artist and album a decade ago and have always enjoyed the sound. Very laid back easy listening with some edgy soft rock undertones.
