Red Card was the third and most successful studio album by the UK rock group Streetwalkers, which made the in the UK album charts. The album features the lineup of Roger Chapman, Charlie Whitney, Bobby Tench of The Jeff Beck Group and Hummingbird, Nicko McBrain, who later played drums with Iron Maiden and bassist Jon Plotel. This groove heavy album was released in the UK by Vertigo and in the United States by Mercury during 1976 and remains a much respected album by many.

Vicious but Fair is almost as good, with the tongue-in-cheek Chilli Con Carne (Chappo always was good at tongue-in-cheek lyrics), the well controlled 'Dice Man' and the rallying-cry of 'Can't Come In' - which would carry over into the start of Chappo's solo career (virtually forgotten at home, very successful on the continent, particularly Germany). After the hesitant and at times bland Chapman-Whitney Streetwalkers album, the band proper kicked into gear with Downtown Flyers - not a perfect album, but with some real highpoints, many the equal of Family's best. On Red Card, however, they made a quantum leap to something else altogether. From the beautiful packaging to the last notes of Decadence Code, this is that rare beast - a perfect album.
