Battiato - Campi Magnetici FLAC album

Metallica - Death Magnetic (2008).

The last album of what could be called Franco Battiato's "classic prog" period, L'Egitto Prima Delle Sabbie consists of two sidelong compositions strictly arranged for piano only, without any vocals; and even more intriguingly, neither of the performers on the album are Battiato himself.

Campi Magnetici features eight recordings by classical vocalist Franco Battiato. The vocalist is Italian and is consistent with the country's classical vocal tradition. Most of the songs on this album are quite epic as well as slightly disturbing, only one clocking under five minutes.

Fleurs, also graphically rendered as Fleur(s) and FLEURs, is a studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Franco Battiato, issued in 1999. Except for two new songs, the album consists of cover versions of Italian and international classics, mainly from the 1960s. The album was described as "delicate, elegant and enjoyable. The album was followed by Fleurs 3 (2002) and Fleurs 2 (2008).
