The Catalogs - Bootleg FLAC album

Hi all! Listen to some of this bootleg LP right here

The Bootleg Series Vol. 11: The Basement Tapes Complete is a compilation album of unreleased home recordings made in 1967 by Bob Dylan and the group of musicians that would become The Band, released on Legacy Records November 3, 2014.

The album set a high quality-benchmark: great music, good audio. Like almost all bootlegs of the early 1970s, it came in a white cardboard sleeve with a rubber-stamped title but no artist name. The most talked-about . tracks were those recorded with The Band in 1967, which were not officially released until 1975, as part of The Basement Tapes. A reminder of the credibility of bootlegs in the 1970s. Live at Leeds was actually an official release, but packaged to resemble a bootleg. Van Morrison Van the Man (Highway High Fi, 1974, LP). In 1974, the Trade Mark of Quality partnership broke up and Douglas launched The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label.

Redirected from Bootleg album). A bootleg recording is an audio or video recording of a performance that was not officially released by the artist or under other legal authority. The process of making and distributing such recordings is known as bootlegging. Recordings may be copied and traded among fans of the artist without financial exchange, but some bootleggers have sold recordings for profit, sometimes by adding sound engineering and packaging to the raw material.

This bootleg album was a highlight of the boot era in the seventies. In current days The Black Album is a mere nostalgic item. Cover is simply black, with the title: "The Beatles" in white lettering, opposed to the White Album official release it is mirrored after. Back of the cover has track listing with 4-pictures of the individual Beatles taken during the Let It Be sessions. No other markings are on the package.

Notes

Limited to a total of 280 copies on clear green vinyl in plain white paper sleeves with the Category, artist and title hand written at the top.
10 of these copies came in sleeves signed by label owner Tim Chandler. This is one of those 10 copies.
In June 2008, the remaining copies were issued with a new "Emergency Sleeve" and officially made available for sale.
The vinyl was deliberately pressed by Mutant Pop with the incorrect vinyl labels that actually refer to the first release on the label.
The track titles do not appear on the record anywhere.
Etching on A-side runout groove: - DO I HEAR ELVIS?
Etching on B-side runout groove: - ISN'T THAT A QUEERS COVER?
