The Heavy Entertainment Show is the eleventh studio album by English recording artist Robbie Williams. It was released on 4 November 2016 through Columbia Records. In May 2016, it was announced that Robbie Williams had signed a recording contract with Sony Music. Robbie Williams said in a statement: "They're inspired, I'm inspired. I'm more ready than I ever have been and I'm totally convinced I'm in the right place.

This release has been acknowledged by the artist that it should have been called 'The' Heavy Entertainment Show. 2016 Robert Williams/Farrell Music Limited.

Welcome to The Heavy Entertainment Show, where Eminem meets Barry Manilow. 25 years into his mission to gamely entertain us all, Robbie Williams opens his 11th album with a neat and typically self-aware summation of his appeal. THES is a fruity cocktail of rebellion and vulnerability. Motherfucker -an ode to his young son-is a joyous lost Britpop anthem, David’s Song -an ode to his manager David Enthoven, who died as the album was being recorded-is genuinely affecting, while the rambunctious collaborations with Rufus Wainwright and John Grant feel inspired

ROBBIE Williams has announced his first album in three years titled Heavy Entertainment Show – featuring collaborations with Ed Sheeran and The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers. The record, which will be released on November 4, also includes duets with American singer-songwriters Rufus Wainwright and John Grant.

Heavy Entertainment Show, billed as Williams’s big pop comeback (although that was also the case with 2012’s Take the Crown, and the one before that too, if memory serves), isn’t filled entirely with novelty songs. Instead it lurches from one thing to the next, be that MOR balladry, glam rock or orchestral showtunes. The album’s concept came from Williams recalling his youth, when light entertainment shows had the power to unite millions of people all watching the same thing together
