Yasmine Hamdan (Arabic: ياسمين حمدان‎; born 1976) is a Lebanese singer, songwriter and actress, now based in Paris. She became known with Soapkills, the duo she founded with Zeid Hamdan (no relation) while she was still living in Beirut, Lebanon. The first album released by Soapkills was Bater (1999). Bad Vibes is the debut studio album by American electronic musician Shlohmo. It was released through Friends of Friends on August 9, 2011.

While Yasmine's vocals are definitely connected to traditions of Arabic music (to which she takes an unconventional and fresh approach), the structures and arrangements of the songs are very remote from its codes, and take in elements from contemporary Western electronic, pop and folk music.

After announcing the album back in September and later rolling out singles like Feelins, Issues & Scrub to name a few, XXL FreshmanPnB Rock decides to come through today and release his highly anticipated debut album Catch These Vibes. Laced with 18 tracks in total, the follow up to this year’s GTTM: Going Thru The Motions project features guest appearances from Russ, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Yachty, Juicy J, Smokepurpp, Ugly God, Roy Woods, 24Hrs, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, the latter of which he made headlines with last month for jumping Lil B backstage at the Rolling Loud Festival.

Late last night, Yasmine from Krewella hosted an impromptu Ustream session where people could ask her questions and she would try to respond only in song; she recently started playing the piano so this was an opportunity for her to practice while still managing to have a little fun on a Saturday night

From the outset of the album, it's clear the project will live up to its name. PnB puts his smooth vocals to use on "Friends," a track that finds the rapper/crooner telling the age-old tale of 20-somethings distancing themselves from romance. Girl, what's wrong with us just being friends?/I want you to help me understand/Love it when you ride me like a Benz/Why you tryna fuck up all these plans?," he sings on the hook for the song.
