Kaleidoscopic Vibrations – Electronic Pop Music For The Future (LP, Album). This is an album with a lot of retro appeal, but also real musical invention and plenty of humour. Many of the tracks are covers of 60s hits that already had a hint of classical ambition about them - "A Lover's Concerto", itself adapted from Bach, is transformed into proto-synthpop, "Moon River" becomes an eerie futuristic soundscape, and "Strangers In The Night" turns into an hilarious mass of goofy sound effects.
It was first released on the album Kaleidoscopic Vibrations: Electronic Pop Music From Way Out in 1967 and was once described as being a "harpsichord gone country"

Kaleidoscopic Vibrations: Spotlight on the Moog was a 1971 re-release of the second collaboration between electronic musicians Perrey and Kingsley, which used a new title and new cover artwork. It was released on Vanguard Records, an independent label in Santa Monica, California. The original 1967 release was called Kaleidoscopic Vibrations: Electronic Pop Music From Way Out. All songs by Perrey-Kingsley unless noted.
