On a recent Thursday night in Brooklyn, Built to Spill-now comprised of Martsch, Steve Gere on drums, and Jason Albertini on bass, the same lineup BTS has had since 2015’s Untethered Moon-played to about 250 people between stops on a co-headlining tour with Afghan Whigs. While it’s not shredding, finger tapping guitar work, it’s still impressively arranged and perfectly executed.
