Double Nickels on the Dime is the third album by American punk trio Minutemen, released on the California independent record label SST Records in 1984. Ain't is a short for is not/have not. I read that "i need no education" is a double negative, it means that negative+negative clear each other out giving you a positive meaning. Negative+negative positive Negative+positive negative. So according to that, "I don't need no education" would mean that you DON'T need NO EDUCATION, but DO NEED EDUCATION. The use of double negatives and the word "ain't" is not one of those. When I hear statements such as the examples given, I form an opinion about the educational level of the speaker. That does not mean the person is unintelligent.

Shake Your Money Maker is the kind of streamlined, supertight groove album that bar-band dreams are made of. On "Could I've Been So Blind," the Crowes achieve a howling, brutal eloquence: The band imitates a five-piece rhythm section, pounding like a jackhammer behind the pointed disbelief of the vocals. His rap about good-time habits veering out of control puts across a sullen, double-edged desperation accurately enough to give you the shakes, while the band's distorted guitars and churning, nearly arrhythmic punch never let up. While the London Quireboys, Company of Wolves and even the Black Crowes can seem a bit studied, Junkyard blares with a total lack of self-consciousness.
