Bernhard Wöstheinrich (born in 1968) is an experimental musician mostly known for his work with centrozoon and his solo project under the moniker "The Redundant Rocker". Bernhard met Conrad to do an interview for the German KEYBOARDS magazine in 2007. There was an instant connection between the two, so Conrad gave Bernhard 4 CDs to to work on, . to produce a new record from the source material. The re-mix was done using an automatic self-referential audio process, the result of which was slightly re-arranged by Wöstheinrich afterwards

A co-founder of West Berlin's Zodiak Free Arts Lab, he was an early member of Tangerine Dream (1969–1970) and a founder of the band Kluster. He was an early member of Tangerine Dream (1969–1970) and a founder of the band Kluster. He continued to record from his home studio in Dallgow, Germany, creating CD-Rs which he sold independently.

In 2000, Bernhard Wöstheinrich and Markus Reuter recorded Blast, their first album as a duo. Comprising of four monumental, otherworldly compositions spread out across as many sides of vinyl, the music was an overt tribute: "I had discovered Tangerine Dream's Zeit sometime in the late 1980s and it had blown me away," Wöstheinrich says, "I remember thinking to myself: This is the album I've been waiting for my entire life!" .
