Fires at Midnight is the third studio album by the group Blackmore's Night, released July 10, 2001 through SPV/Steamhammer. In comparison to their previous two releases, there are more electric guitar parts on this album, whilst maintaining a folk rock direction. The album was a Top Ten record in Germany. On December 2001, Fires At Midnight was a finalist on the New Age Voice award for the best vocal album of the year. In 2004 the album went Gold in the Czech Republic.

I think it's a very overrated song. Not worth what they are asking these days. It's a very boring song, without any creativity in the melody.

Yeah, zyx music is starting again in 2016 to issue vinyl maxi singles again! So far this, kata record is the most rare of the the singles to be repressed. Then there are repressing of p.lion, happy children/ Valerie dore, the night/ ken laszlo, tonight/ scotch, disco band and coming soon laserdance, humanoid invasion. The ones after kata are not so rare and pretty easy to find at good prices, but it's wonderful that zyx music is pressing up more vinyls. thank you jesus :-) :-) :-)

Great sound quality on this reissue and big chance for someone who doesn't want to pay high price for the original 1985 edition. I hope ZYX will publish more -hard to find records- in the future!!

I totally agree with you! The sound quality is amazing & the picture sleeve is really beautiful too. ZYX is releasing more hard to find Italo disco classics. Rene "Don't Hurt Me" is coming out Jan 2019, then Eddy Huntington with "USSR" in Fen 2019 & for March 2019 it will be Raffalli with "Don't Stop". All three 12"s with include the original mixes, plus brand new remixes of these classics. ZYX is doing a great job I think, ZYX will be releasing one Italo disco classic 12:" each month for 2019!!

exceptional reissue. sound quality is terrific. hopefully ZYX can handle more italo 12" reissues like this themselves in future ("flash in your mind" perhaps?)

Very over-rated song. I like it myself fine, but I don't think it's really worth all the high marks it gets. Overall I'd say it's "decent."

And why you think it is over-rated ? lamers (in 95% of the cases) don't care if the song is good or not, they care if the record is rare and/or hard to find|exclusive Label. So, when 10 people say this record should be getting sold in 500 (for example), it will be sold in 500. Beginners and average collectors are getting excited and going blindly, cause they (lamers) dictate them what to think. And again, taste, usually doesn't really play a part...
