Allies (Crosby, Stills & Nash album). Allies is the eighth album by Crosby, Stills & Nash, their second concert document, and released on Atlantic Records in 1983. A live concert clip for "Wasted on the Way" received some rotation on MTV and VH1 at the time, as did the single "War Games". It peaked at on the Billboard 200, and is currently out of print.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young discography. The core discography of supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young consists of eight studio albums, five live albums, six compilation albums, four video albums, and 19 singles. Originally formed in 1968, the group released one album as the trio Crosby, Stills & Nash before recruiting Neil Young into the band for their first concerts in 1969

Crosby Stills and Nash LP "CSN". An album cover for the ages - folk-rock perfection! Crosby Stills and Nash's 1977 long playing album "CSN" is a masterpiece of harmonies that resonate to the core.

The Crosby, Stills & Nash triumvirate shot to immediate superstardom with the release of its self-titled debut LP, a sparkling set immortalizing the group's amazingly close, high harmonies. While elements of the record haven't dated well - Nash's Eastern-influenced musings on the hit "Marrakesh Express" now seem more than a little silly, while the antiwar sentiments of "Wooden Ships," though well-intentioned, are rather hokey - the harmonies are absolutely timeless, and the best material remains rock-solid

Producer – Stephen Stills, David Crosby, Graham Nash. Rhythm Guitar – David Crosby. It seems like just yesterday I brought home this first lp from Crosby, Stills and Nash. The lp offers superior musicianship, impeccable harmonies and for all of it the album is curiously sterile in its perfection. I almost find the collection to be the first CD, in that it features oh so clean recordings that somehow have none of the 'warmth' of analog recording.

Crosby, Stills & Nash's first single - and the first song most fans heard by the new superstar trio - was originally written by Graham Nash for his previous band the Hollies. They recorded 'Marrakesh Express' but never released it, so Nash dragged it out for CSN's debut album. The bouncy rhythm and playful spirit reflects Nash's trip to the Moroccan city in the mid-'60s. 9. 'Just a Song Before I Go'. From: 'CSN' (1977)

There's a reason why David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash didn't adopt a group name when they joined forces. From the start, they kept their identities distinct even when they blended their voices in lustrous harmony. Their 1969 debut album had the intimate, homemade feel of three friends making music together. Beneath the mellow surface, though, was a complex interweaving of folk, rock, blues, and Latin elements

It doesn't make sense that this would be a first pressing and also have a gold-record award sticker (as this listing claims). I have a copy with the exact same labels and matrix etchings, but no gold sticker on front.
LoboThommy
It can be pressed before the award and the sticker put on before shipment, or it could be a continuation of the first press if there is no discernable difference in the deadwax. If there are no deadwax or label differences, it is the same pressing.
