Johnny Paycheck Aka Donny Young - Shakin' The Blues FLAC album

What these historians seem to forget is that Paycheck (who henceforth, faced with his numerous pseudonyms, shall be referred to, even when referencing his earlier self, as Johnny Paycheck) had spent years making a slew of brilliant honky-tonk, near-rockabilly and stone country records, some of the best records he would ever make, under that forgotten nom-de-plume of 'Donny Young.

This is a detailed discography for American country music singer Johnny Paycheck. Paycheck initially recorded some singles under the name of Donny Young before releasing a few singles on Hilltop and then a string of albums with Little Darlin' Records in the mid-60s. In 1971 he signed with Epic Records and stayed with the label for over 10 years

However, this modest revival overlooked the recordings he made before Little Darlin', when he was recording under the pseudonym Donny Young. To be fair, these are singles that were never reissued, not even on LP, because they were rare and obscure: they were not hits so they were forgotten to all but hardcore collectors

If the character of Johnny Paycheck (as portrayed by Donny Lytle) was made into a story for the screen it would necessarily have to be done as a multi part film franchise or at least a True Detective style miniseries.
