Live at the Palladium is the second live album by American music duo Carpenters. It was recorded during a week of live concerts at the London Palladium in November 1976. No singles were released from the album, although it reached number 28 on the UK Albums Chart. On the cover of the record, Karen is wearing the same dress as in The Carpenters' Very First Television Special
Lou's Notes: Their latest album at the time, A Kind Of A Hush, had been released in June 1976. Karen had started her battle with anorexia nervosa in 1975, having to partially cancel their European/Japanese tour. She would sadly die in 1983 from the disease, when it seemed she was doing well and posied for a comeback. She was only 32 - I was 29 at the time. A few glitches were fixed and the show was re-tracked. Volume levels were raised slightly. The Carpenters - 1976-11-16 Amsterdam. Remove Advertisements.
