Neil Sedaka's Greatest Hits is a 1977 compilation album consisting of the works of American pop star Neil Sedaka. It contains his most popular songs from his trilogy of Rocket albums from 1974-1976. Neil Sedaka - Laughter & Tears (Best of, 1993). Bought this in a fit of nostalgia, particularly for the track Laughter in the Rain cos I'm an old romantic. This album reminds me of when I was young living at home as my Mum had it and used to play it a lot so the songs stuck in my head. Now I'm a grown up I still quite like this music, in a 'closet fan' kind of way. It's one to put on when preparing the Sunday lunch so you can sing along without being disturbed by the kids who, unlike myself in the 'olden days' don't seem to 'get it'.
