Waiting in Vain" is a song written by reggae musician Bob Marley and recorded by Bob Marley & The Wailers, for his 1977 album Exodus. Released as a single, it hit number twenty-seven in the UK Singles Chart. The single was one of only a few of Marley's Island singles to feature a non-album B-Side, this being the song "Roots", an outtake from the Rastaman Vibration sessions.

Stir it up; little darlin', stir it up. Come on, baby. The label folded shortly after and Marley began writing for American singer Johnny Nash. On Nash's I Can See Clearly Now album, he used members of The Wailers and recorded several Marley songs: "Stir It Up," the follow-up single, "Comma Comma," "Guava jelly," and the Nash, Marley co-written ballad, "You Poured Sugar on M. The track "(It Was) So Nice While It Lasted" received radio play.

Not until "Stir It Up," which sounds a bit like Ahmad Jamal getting into the reggae groove, does Monty at last sound like a melodically free man. "No Woman, No Cry" ignites midway with a good fusion of a pure reggae groove and some harmonically advanced jazz, "So Ja Sah" has a swinging union of the two sections that also respects Marley's unusual rhythmic concept, and there is a hot remix of "Could You Be Loved" as a bonus track (with master drummer Sly Dunbar).

Bob Marley Stir It Up Mp3 Download: Reggae song composed by Bob Marley and first recorded by his group The Wailers in 1967. In 1973, Bob Marley and the Wailers re-recorded the popular version of the song for their album Catch a Fire. Frankly, this is one of the greatest love songs ever made.
