There are a lot of songs worth hearing that did not make it to the radio. He is good at this, but it does feel like it's for a younger setting.

DeAndre Cortez Way (born July 28, 1990), better known as Soulja Boy Tell 'Em or simply Soulja Boy, is an American rapper, record producer, actor and entrepreneur. In September 2007, his debut single "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" peaked at number one on the . Billboard Hot 100. The single was initially self-published to the internet, and later became a number-one hit in the United States for seven non-consecutive weeks starting in September 2007.

You live by the ringtone, you die by the ringtone. The staggering success of Soulja Boy revealed a generational chasm in hip-hop, as thousands of young fans hailed him as a teenage god, while venerable rappers like Ice-T saw him as a sign of the apocalypse. Ironically, both these groups have one thing in common; they’re taking Soulja Boy way too seriously. The truth is that Soulja Boy’s simply the latest in a long line of teenage idols, from Frankie Avalon in the '60s to the New Kids on the Block in the '90s

Unfortunately, the quality quickly declines, settling into a boring melody to go along with Soulja Boy’s equally boring monotonic rapping, including a chorus where he merely repeats ‘I’m bout th. and then a random word for what seems like 10 minutes.

Short on new ideas and lacking in cohesion, Soulja Boy Tell Em's second official full-length finds the young upstart trying way too hard to re-create the bazillion selling "Crank That" and repeatedly coming up short. The mindless "Bird Walk" is the most obvious attempt, combining the same Southern-styled production, the same shouts of "Youuuuuu!," and the same silly dance instructions.

iSouljaBoyTellem is the second studio album by American rapper Soulja Boy. It was released on December 16, 2008, by Stacks on Deck Entertainment, Collipark Music and Interscope Records. The album was mostly produced by Soulja Boy himself, along with several record producers such as Drumma Boy, Jim Jonsin and Zaytoven, as well as the guest appearances from Gucci Mane, Shawty Lo and Yo Gotti, among others. The album was supported by three singles: Bird Walk, Kiss Me Thru the Phone featuring Sammie, and Turn My Swag On. iSouljaBoyTellem Q&A.
