The third studio long-player from the malevolent Greek thrash metal unit led by Taz Danazoglou, the Metal Blade-issued Die Evil finds Satan's Wrath unleashing another blistering set of old-school, pentagram and cloven hoof-minded vintage black metal in the vein of Slayer, Venom, Possessed, and Destruction.

Satan´s Wrath is on course. While creating an omnipresent atmosphere of viciousness, the spirited four-piece presents nine songs that form a united front against any kind of beauty. Their vehement approach is fairly comparable with that of Ravencult, the gods of Greek black thrash. These two bands have even more in common. The hellish gang of Satan´s Wrath is also unable to spell the word "compromise". The spartanly titled "Die Evil" ignores any kind of external influences. It cannot be categorized as a retro thrash album. Nevertheless, the guys follow the purity law of black thrash metal. Swift as an arrow, the songs maybe do not reach the highest level of compositional art.

A new, heinous entity was fast becoming a prevalent force in popular culture and was spreading in the form of music, corrupting the social fabric of our youth and driving them towards a godless life of sin; such as dying their hair black, wearing a leather jacket, possibly even getting a tattoo. With an over the top Satanic image, lyrics that continuously extol Satan, and music that is chock full of terrifying riff wreckage, their new album ‘Galloping Blasphemy’ has so far been widely received with praise. As a result Satan’s Wrath have swaggered confidently around the trap of becoming just another retro throwback band as it possesses a certain rawness and authenticity that so many other bands trying to achieve the same thing lack.
