Third World is a Jamaican reggae fusion band formed in 1973. Their sound is influenced by soul, funk and disco. Although it has undergone several line-up changes, Stephen "Cat" Coore and Richard Daley have been constant members.

On this celebration of Bob Marley 74th Birthday and our brother Bunny Rugs 71st Earthstrong, we thought to rewind to the 90’s Spirit of United Tour, on the Tonight Show hosted by Jay Leno in LA, THIRD WORLD x Steel Pulse x Priest x Biggie Irie x Joseph HILL - Culture x Ras Shiloh performed a Bob Marley medley.

Third World is a Jamaican reggae group consisting of William 'Bunny Rugs' Clark (vocals), Steven 'Cat' Coore (guitar, cello, harmonica, vocals), Richard 'Richie' Daley (bass, vocals), Herbert Harris (Keyboard), and Tony Williams (drummer). They were formed in 1973 and are still releasing records today.

Released by Island in 1984, Reggae Greats succinctly summed up the band's success during the reggae age and beyond. Picking up the Maytals' story with the release of Toots Hibbert from jail and the trio's comeback smash, "54-46 That's My Number," this collection duly proceeds to bounce around through the years. There's a further clutch of classics from the early reggae age, including their Independence Festival song winner "Sweet & Dandy
